Clarity before interface
A polished screen cannot resolve a product whose central decision is still undefined.

Screens make uncertainty look finished
Visual design creates a dangerous sense of progress. Once a question has a button and a border, it can feel answered—even if no one agreed on what should happen next.
I try to delay interface decisions just long enough to name the product decisions beneath them.
Definition is design
Writing the rule, naming the state and choosing what not to expose are design actions. The interface becomes the visible consequence of that work.
